Our Departure – We are on our way to San Diego, CA
It all began with an 1,100 miles road trip from Vancouver, WA down to San Diego, CA to attend the Tiny Fest California. I literally finished Misty’s construction the day we left town. I have never towed anything before, so the first days on the road were very nerve wrecking…..
I have never towed anything before, so the first days on the road were very nerve wrecking….. Plus I just upgraded to a truck, a new experience as well. I love the powerful roar of the V8 engine! There was no time left to test the sway control system, or to adjust the newly installed the trailer brakes. I had no idea how Misty would tow long distance, on the freeway & over the mountain passes.
Here are a few picks of our first 3 days on the road, before arriving in San Diego.

We made it safely to to the Tiny House Fest, it took us 3 days, no it is time to relax!!!!
